Karen Larson
Founder & Principal
Karen Larson is the founder and principal of Broad Avenue Studios, Inc., a national interior design firm specializing in the residential sector, with clientele from coast-to-coast.
Karen’s professional career also includes more than twenty years of experience in the financial industry, most notably as Director, Head of Advanced Sales for Deutsche Bank and President/Owner of Advanced Sales & Marketing, a pioneer in contract structure education. As the leading industry expert, Karen was featured as a keynote speaker at national financial services conferences and symposiums.
Karen has a bachelor of arts degree in liberal arts from DePaul University and is a Certified Financial Planner, CFP®. Dedicated to becoming an expert in the wellness movement, Karen assists clients design a home that supports a healthier and more fulfilling lifestyle.
Charlotte Fernlund
Interior Design
With a passion for art, color trends, and fashion, Charlotte brings a fresh perspective to every project. She is a graduate of High Point University with a degree in interior design, and obtained practical experience in graphic design and visual merchandising from time spent in the furniture industry for the last 7 years.
From space planning on AutoCAD, to digital renderings on Sketchup and Photoshop, Charlotte collaborates with designers, developers, and clients to create compelling design materials and visual aids that bring ideas to life.
